Howard Pearce is the founder and Executive Director of HowESG Ltd, a specialist environmental, asset stewardship and governance consultancy. HowESG was established in 2013 and incorporated as a limited company in 2014. The company provides advice to clients including asset managers, PLCs and private companies, charities, local government and regulatory authorities.

Current roles include Chairman of Menhaden Resource Efficiency PLC and Non-Executive Director of Ashoka White Oak Emerging Markets PLC.

Previously Chair of the Columbia Threadneedle Responsible Investment Advisory Council, Board Member of Response Global Media, Chair of the Pension Board for Avon (£6bn) and Wiltshire (£2bn) Pension Funds, head of the Environment Agency £2bn pension fund, and a trustee member of the investment committee.
